LMS Hosting

LMS Hosting means on-demand e-learning without the added expense of purchasing software and hardware to be built and maintained in your own IT infrastructure. LMS hosting gives organizations an alternative to costly equipment and IT personnel. We commit our resources to providing a secure, scalable, and private solution for your organization built on our n+1 infrastructure allowing you to deliver training via the Internet with little to no setup on your part. Our systems enable you to decrease the total cost of ownership, reduce risk, increase ROI, and focus on training instead of technology.

Diversys' Virtual Learning Portals are hosted exclusively in our n+1 data center in Austin, Texas. Our datacenter provides fully redundant Internet connectivity (connected to six of the world's largest Internet Backbones), which provides our customers the reliability, scalability and uptime they require. Further, our 24x7 Network Operations Center constantly monitors the datacenter to ensure utilization and throughput thresholds are not exceeded. Our network architecture eliminates single points of failure and results in our ability to guarantee 100% network uptime.

Data Security and Encryption
Our systems utilize encryption products to protect customer data and the communications between their systems and ours. Our security systems prevent customers from viewing another customer’s data. All information viewed or entered into our systems is encrypted via SSL while in transmission. Diversys employees do not have direct access to your data, and we do not rent, sell, or lease your data to third parties. Limited access is provided to Diversys employees only for support or when determined necessary by management.

Network Security
Our networks are protected by the latest firewalls and intrusion protection systems sourced by leading security vendors. We maintain service contracts with all hardware and software vendors to ensure our systems maintain the latest service packs and updates available. In addition, we regularly deploy a comprehensive vulnerability assessment to ensure we adhere to the latest security standards. We maintain our own servers and equipment and do not rely on third parties to support our equipment. Our specially trained staff is skilled with the latest industry technologies, and we regularly train our employees to keep up with the ever changing technology environment.

Systems Security
Diversys employees do not have direct access to production equipment, except when necessary for system management, maintenance, monitoring, and backups. Diversys does not utilize third parties or managed service providers to service or maintain our equipment. All systems are protected by strong passwords and master passwords are not shared. All upgrades, service packs, and firmware updates are maintained per each vendors' recommendations. When applicable, systems are hardened by removing unnecessary services and processes.

Physical Security
Physical access to our systems is secured by 24-hour physical security, bio-metric access controls throughout, CCTV, personnel, and steel re-enforced barriers. Bi-grid power is backed up by parallel redundant UPSs and redundant CAT Diesel generators. Environmental concerns are addressed by ensuring constant temperature and humidity levels with four-phase fire prevention/suppression.

Redundancy and Disaster Recovery
Our infrastructure is designed with redundantly configured routers, firewalls, load balancers, SSL accelerators, web servers, application servers, and database servers. All customer data is stored using RAID disk storage and is backed up with each transaction. Nightly backups of all data are stored to tape drives, which are subsequently verified for integrity and moved to a secure off-site storage facility. Diversys is in agreement, in the event of a disaster, to provide access to a remote disaster recovery facility. In the event our main production facilities become unavailable, the necessary hardware and software are available at a remote location for quick recovery.
